I’ve been slowly gathering confirmed counterfeit and questionable card stories and scans. There is a delay between when I get information and when it gets posted, but everything will get posted! Please let me know if you have scans of questionable or known counterfeit cards. Some of this information will be redundant if you are reading the boards, but I wanted to make sure it was all gathered into one spot. I will be building a gallery of counterfeit and questionable cards.

| This Chris Farley was sold on eBay about a year ago. Star Pics is no longer around to confirm this card is a forgery, but all known legit Star Pics SNL autographs that I’m aware of were signed on the back of the card. The pens used were all the same pens, and were darker and thinner than this signature. It is rumored that some forgers bought a bunch of cheap Star Pics autographs, peeled off the ‘Star Pics Authentic’ stickers, forged signatures on more expensive cards (mostly sports cards, thankfully), slapped the stickers on the forgeries and sold them as legit. |

I’ve always wondered about the Star Pics auto’s from SNL’s as well. I do know is that used to make Draft pick cards from FB and BK, the most vauables ones are of Brett Favre and Emmitt Smith, and I do know that the sigs are signed on the back. Thanks for confirming that with the Farley auto as fake if any are signed on the front.

Appreciate the site. As you can see by my website I am a huge Chris Farley fan. The Star Pics card is the one item that I am missing from my collection (for the most part). I have been hesitate on autographs of Mr Farley because it is difficult to authenticate and I have been burned on a script that I purchased on ebay a long while back. Anyway back on ebay is the Star pics card in question. Hopefully I am able to obtain your opinion on the card before the auction ends.
